Christmas Fair
One of the most beautiful fairs. During this unique period of the year, Wrocław’s heart starts beating faster. Among Christmas trees full of the scent of the forest, the aroma of mulled wine and chocolate ginger breads, the citizens of Wrocław as well as tourists have the occasion to experience a multitude of Christmas surprises and attractions. The magic of Christmas will amaze everyone.

The fair offers lots of delicacies. Christmas-style huts sell not only savoury mulled wine and sweet ginger breads, but also specialties that one wouldn’t encounter anywhere else. French crêpes, Hungarian kalacs and langosz, Austrian cheeses or else delicious Spanish churros which taste best with liquid chocolate, and this is just the beginning of this tasty adventure.
At “Smakowity Peron” (Delicious Platform) one can try traditional Polish cuisine: shashlyk, cured and boiled ham hock, traditional bigos or beef burgers. Oscypek – traditional Polish highlanders’ cheese with cranberries can also be found there, as well as honeys from Lower Silesia and Bieszczady regions, roasted chestnuts or else original Polish and Lithuanian cold cuts, fragrant coffees and teas from all over the world.
One can also taste sweet Turkish baklava, Alsatian flammkuchen wafers, traditional Hungarian cold meats: “kolozsvári” bacon and deer salami.
Christmas Fair is also a perfect place for all those who would like to give their near and dear ones a unique gift. In beautiful wooden huts we can search for Christmas presents among many unique items. This year, the fair will host the manufacturer of unique ceramic products from Ukraine, jewellery immersed in resin, decorative bags performed from natural linen material as well as sacks with colourful motives, Christmas ceramic goods, Lithuanian cosy woollen blankets, natural cosmetics and decorative artisanal products.
During the Fair you will also have the opportunity to purchase: fragrant soaps from Marseille, handmade decorations and Christmas trees, teddy bears and blankets for our little ones, wooden toys, silver and gilded jewellery with precious stones or beautiful felt bags with folk motives.
Unique handicraft from the most distant corners of the world will be available, too. Wooden huts hide patchwork items from Nepal, decorative elements and jewellery from Zambia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Congo, traditional Buddhist sculptures, musical instruments, colourful caskets from India and Thailand.
Handicraft lovers will have the occasion not only to buy amazing items, but also to see how they are made. By the Wrocław Christmas tree one will be for example able to order beautiful and painted glass ornaments with dedication, commemorative coin made by a minter or the unique name horseshoe forged by a smith to bring good luck.
